Projects of the Future

What does Downtown Springdale’s future look like?

Improved parking

Provide a coordinated system of on-street parking, shared off-street parking structures, and improved streetscapes and circulation.

Spring Street Mixed-Use Project

  • Estimated Completion: Q2 2025

  • Located on a 0.27-acre lot east of Shiloh Square, Walter Turnbow Park, and the Razorback Greenway, the project will be a five-story building with approximately 25,000 SF. Accessible from Spring Street, the project’s ground floor will include 5,850 SF of commercial space with outdoor seating overlooking the park and Greenway. Twenty residential units, ranging from townhomes to efficiency units, will occupy the second, third, and fourth floors.

Jones Central Green

  • Estimated completion: 2030 following a capital campaign.

  • Jones Central Green re-imagines the 55-acres in Downtown Springdale in which the Jones Center is located, creating an indoor/outdoor regional destination. The space will offer sports & recreation, arts & culture, and science & technology programs for all ages. The campus will add new amenities such as a maker space and climbing structures.
